If a tropical holiday is not in the plan just now, then here is some lovely recipe ideas from gourmet traveller
to make you feel a little closer to paradise. Some tangy and refreshing passionfruit curd for the perfect ice-cream accompaniment or some mango yoghurt sorbet with tropical fruit ....yum! The lovely layers of crisp meringue with fruit and a dollop of fresh cream makes a beautiful vacherin...

yellow & white delight

Jul 21, 2011

A recent dinner @ the Ivy has got me all excited about yellow & white....

via chocolate chili mango

eat: yellow and white delight post was inspired by a recent dinner at the beautiful Ivy Restaurant . The entire bar and restaurant is decked out in yellow and white, very fresh, coastal and french. I loved the yellow lamps and chairs, as well as the striped walls. The passionfruit souffle was to die for! We all love Lemon, call me cupcake has some gorgeous lemon curd recipes, and these Lemoncello macrons look amazing. Donna Hay also does a fabulous lemon pot.

read: 'Silver Wattle' by Belinda Alexandra is a great Australian novel, highly recommended if you like a historical fiction, with a little bit of suspense and love of course. 'The Help' is also next on my list of books to read, it has been top of the pile for some time now.

love: yellow and white inspired interiors. Coastal Living has some gorgeous rooms, and I always find something beautiful when I visit this is glamorous. The 'love is all you need' drink bottle, comes from the gorgeous style me pretty blog, inspired by sitting in a tree, the perfect place to find some really nice table spreads for your next special occasion. Our lovely partner Materialistic has some gorgeous cushions and towels in yellow and white.

If you surround yourself with the things you love, this will make you happy. So why not take a chance and add a little splash of yellow and white to your plate or your favourite room to brighten up your day!

Happy Eating, Reading and Loving
