SUMMER COCKTAILS with Four Pillars & BOTTLEGREEN

Summer Cocktails with Four Pillars Gin and Bottlegreen Tonics.

Eat Read Love was recently invited to an evening celebrating Spring, gin and tonic upstairs at the fabulous Simon Johnson HQ in Woollahra. On the evening our Hannah Mars got to taste test the creations of mixologist Jason Crawley using Four Pillars Gin and Bottlegreen tonics and cordials.

With Summer well and truly here, and Christmas parties in the planning, we thought you might like to share in some of the cocktail fun, with these three fabulous Summer Cocktails featuring Four Pillars Gin and Bottlegreen tonics. The Green Gimlet with beautiful elderflower and mint, the Kits Fizz with Lemon and Ginger and last but not least the Tickled Pink with grapefruit, all made with Four Pillars gin and Bottlegreen sparkling.

I hope you enjoy the festive season and have fun making these fab Summer Cocktails.

THE GREEN GIMLET

INGREDIENTS

o   60ml Four Pillars Gin
o   10Ml Bottlegreen Sparkling Elderflower Presse
o   Bottlegreen Elderflower Tonic Water
o   Dash of Hopped Grapefruit Bitters
o   Black Lava Salt 

STEPS

1.     Grab a cocktail stirring cup or glass. Wet the rim and add salt.
2.     Fill it with ice to chill it down
3.     Chill down martini glass either with ice or pop in the freezer
4.     Pour the gin and cordial into the cocktail stirring glass and stir
5.     Strain the cocktail into the frozen or chilled glass
6.     Finish with a splash of Bottlegreen Elderflower Tonic Water, Sparkling Elderflower Presse and Hopped Grapefruit bitters
To be served in a coupe glass

KITS FIZZ

INGREDIENTS

o   Bottlegreen Sparkling Elderflower Presse
o   45ml Four Pillars Gin
o   3 x Lemon Chunks
o   6 x Mint Leaves
o   Ginger Syrup

STEPS

1.     Grab a clean highball glass
2.     Add in lemon chunks and mint
3.     Add ginger syrup and muddle
4.     Add the Four Pills Gin
5.     Fill glass with crushed ice
6.     Swizzle with a bar spoon
7.     Fill with the Bottlegreen Sparkling Elderflower Presse

To be served in a highball tumbler

TICKLED PINK

INGREDIENTS

o   45ml Four Pillars Gin
o   Bottlegreen Pomegranite & Elderflower Tonic Water
o   60ml Fresh Squeezed Pink Grapefruit Juice
o   Hopped Grapefruit Bitters

STEPS

1.     Grab a clean highball tumbler
2.     Pour in the Four Pillars gin and Pink Grapefruit Juice
3.     Fill with crushed ice
4.     Fill with the Bottlegreen Pomegranite & Elderflower Tonic Water
5.     Add the Grapefruit Bitters and stir
6.     Garnish with a grapefruit slice and 2 basil sprigs


To be served in a highball tumbler
